On February 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. EST, Census Bureau Director Robert Groves will brief the media on the upcoming release of state redistricting data products. The briefing will include a live webcast, which participants can register to view here.

Disability Statistics From Surveys & Administrative Records

Dr. Andrew J. Houtenville, Associate Professor of Economics and the Institute on Disability Research Director at the University of New Hampshire, will discuss the availability of public-release, restricted-release, and restricted-access survey and administrative data on the population of people with disabilities and participants in disability-related programs. He will discuss efforts to include a small core set of six disability-related questions in all major federal surveys as well as in some administrative records. In addition, he will discuss efforts to make access to linked administrative records more readily available for research purposes.
