NCES Updates Compare Academic Libraries Web Tool with 2010 Data
The National Center for Education Statistics’ Library Statistics Program recently updated their Compare Academic Libraries tool. The tool allows users to view and download the historical data of a library of interest as far back as 2000 and to compare one library with similar libraries.

Learn to access data using the new version of the Census Bureau’s American FactFinder. We will focus on the basic steps used to access 2010 Census population data using the new interface. If you’re familiar with Census data but don’t know where to get your 2010 numbers, this is the workshop for you. Special attention will be paid to the data needs of government agencies, libraries, and non-profit organizations.
