The Geography of…

The above map presents a snapshot of APDU membership and its geographical presence. Here are some of the highlights:

• There are a 244 total individual members
• There are members in 28 states and DC, which means 22 states are not represented
• There are 10 states which have only 1-3 individuals
• 25% of members are in Washington DC (61 of 244)
• 17% members are west of the Mississippi River (43 of 244)
• 4 states have over 10 members: MD, NY, MI, IL (and DC)

As we grow the APDU membership network, one of the priorities is greater geographic inclusion.
