Call for OnTheMap Mobile Beta Testers

The Census Bureau’s OnTheMap Team is calling for Beta Testers to assist in the testing and evaluation of OnTheMap Mobile, an interface for generating and viewing OnTheMap reports, charts, and maps on mobile devices.  This new tool will also, when available, use Location-Based Services functionality to enable analyses on users’ current location.  The Beta testing period will start around the beginning of May and will close on July 1st.  Volunteers will be asked to test the Mobile version of OnTheMap using any available smartphone and/or tablet models and operating systems.  We ask that testers frequently report back to the OnTheMap Development Team at the Census Bureau on bugs, problems, successes, and suggestions for all parts of the application and graphical user interface.  Any smartphone or tablet owners who would like to take part in the Beta testing should contact Victoria Johnson.
