Advocacy and Comment Opportunities
On November 18 we hosted a Town Hall for APDU members to discuss what challenges lie ahead for the federal statistical system. Participants agreed that the conversation should continue. Look for announcements about follow-up discussions in 2025.
In addition, there are three important opportunities for public comment:
- Proposed extension of the American Community Survey and Puerto Rico Community Survey (Note: this is a standard renewal of the clearance for ACS and PRCS, but given anticipated changes in the federal budget, it is important to take this opportunity to show your support.)
- Feedback on the proposed race/ethnicity code list that will be used in the American Community Survey (ACS) and the 2030 Census
- American Community Survey Methods Panel Tests
