Friends of BLS

The Friends of BLS is a voluntary coalition of organizations that support the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Launched in April 2014, Friends of BLS has:

  • created a network of users of BLS data and information to facilitate the distribution of information, opinions, and ideas about BLS among users;
  • connected individuals and organizations who could educate the public and public policy decision makers about the utility and overall value of BLS programs; and
  • supported the BLS as an institution that provides critical data and tools to a wide variety of users for a wide variety of purposes
