APDU is excited to announce our Annual Business Meeting on December 6, 2016, at 3:00 PM EST. The meeting will be convened by webinar and open to all APDU members.
The APDU Board of Directors will report on the state of the association, present this year’s accomplishments and goals for the coming year, and answer your questions.

Which Groups Are Counted?
The U.S. Office of Management and Budget is considering revisions to its standards for collection of federal data on race and ethnicity — the first change those standards would see since 1997. The possible revisions have largely gone unremarked upon in academe, but the potential revisions have drawn interest from the medical and health care community, most prominently in comments submitted by the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Data on Global Activities of Multinational Enterprises
Detailed statistics on the worldwide activities of U.S. multinational enterprises in 2014, including the finances and operations of U.S. parent companies and their foreign affiliates, will be available from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis on December 16. The preliminary data are based on the 2014 Benchmark Survey of U.S. Direct Investment Abroad.
