SURVEY REQUEST: Proposal to Redefine MSA from 50,000 to 100,000 Residents

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requests public comment on the recommendations it has received from the Metropolitan and Micropolitan Statistical Area Standards Review Committee for changes to OMB’s metropolitan and micropolitan statistical area standards. The proposed changes will impact MSA delineations. The deadline for comment is March 19, 2021. (Check out the comment page here.)

Given the potential impact this will have on the collection of federal statistics, as well as state and local research efforts, C2ER and LMI Institute created a survey seeking to gather information from our networks on the intention of agencies and organizations to submit comments.
