FEATURES

Data Symposium 2022, A Future For Good:

How Public Data Helps Us Create Resiliency and Equity for All

With economic, public health, and governance challenges arising from COVID-19 and political polarization, trustworthy public data is vital to open and honest policy debates.

APDU’s conference offers opportunities to learn about how public data enables a stronger understanding of the shifting American landscape, ways that researchers and advocates are ensuring that public data is accurate and equitable, how public data can help restore trust in institutions, and how to rebuild trust in public data.

This year, participants can hear from experts connected with two leading organizations on the effective use of data for transformational change. The Association for Public Data Users (APDU) and Community Indicators Consortium (CIC) are combining dates and virtual platform. The APDU symposium “A Future for Good: How Public Data Helps Us Create Resiliency and Equity for All” will be held virtually May 4 – 5, 2022.

The CIC symposium “Methods, Metrics, and Measurements for Community Resiliency and Equity for All” will be held virtually May 4 – 5, 2022. Both CIC and APDU members share a vital concern with the responsible and rigorous collection, creation, distribution, preservation, and analysis of data.

Take advantage of this opportunity to hear about the progress being made, and how to put data to work for resiliency and equity for all.
