APDU will be holding our Annual Business Meeting and this year, we?re doing things a bit differently. Following great interest in the town hall events at the Annual Conference, APDU will be inviting members to join a town hall event on Census Bureau-related topics immediately following the Business Meeting.

APDU Vice President Mary Jo Hoeksema of the Census Project and Population Association of America will provide update on key Census issues such as the decennial count, status of political appointees, and an outlook on 2021 including an update on the Biden Administration transition and impending changes in Federal agencies and Congress.

Of course, we are excited to tell our members all about APDU’s activities this year during the Business Meeting: weekly newsletters, annual conference, webinars, and trainings (not to mention dealing with the same disruptions caused by COVID that we are all experiencing). The APDU Board of Directors will report on the state of the association, present this year’s accomplishments and goals for the coming year, and answer your questions.

The business meeting and town hall will be convened via Zoom and open to all APDU members.
